M1 Carbine Barrel Bands

I've seen Barrel bands Type 1A and Type 2, there is a big difference in looks and a price difference, but i just acquired 3 Type 2 Bands and to me they look like Type 3 with the Lug cut off. Upon further inspection out of the 5 type 3 bayonet lugs i have there's 2 markings that the Bayonet lugs have and a different screw that the Type 2 don"t have. Would anybody know if they change to Type 2 from the 1A before going to the Type 3 Barrel Band with the Lug on it ?
