With Badger's help, here are a few pictures of my 1960 BSA L1A1 that was recently resurrected from the "ZF" junk pile. I had to send it out to have the worn out body lug welded up and machined. I refinished the metal to MoD spec with phosphate and Suncorite 259. I've had it on the range and it shoots 2-3" groups with a Hythe rear sight fitted at 100 yards. The barrel is a 1970 Enfield manufactured barrel in excellent shape. I was going to put it in new pebble Maranyl but had the original walnut it came with so I opted for the wood with a bit of coaxing! The wood has character and even a rack number on the butt so all I did was rub it out with some raw linseed and install.
