    1928 Terni 91/28 carbine.

Picked this up this weekend, probably the nicest Carcano of any type I've ever seen. First 91/28 I've owned, and am itching to shoot it. Great feeling little carbine, light and very compact. Are the 91/28's particularly uncommon? Can't remember seeing a lot. Anyway, here is the obligatory gun porn!

There were 90,000 Terni produced 91/28's which makes it the second most common manufacturer. Total production was 443,500.

So it isn't exactly uncommon. The M38 short rifle production was 620,800.

Good looking rifle you have there. I have a 1931 Beretta M91/28 TS, pretty good shooter.

The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!
