    Question Link to Mystery Mauser Dummy rounds w/ Charger

    Since it's Mauser relevant, I thought I'd put a link to the thread on the "Ammo" Forum.

    They're odd, mostly wooden dummy cartridges on a strange (to me) charger.

    They look like 7.5 Swissicon. Are you sure they are 8MM?

    They might be Japaneseicon, which, although a Mauser derivative, has it's own forum, so maybe i guessed a bit off! I didn't mean to imply that they were 8x57, I was thinking maybe Belgian, Argentineicon, or something obscure. They LOOK mostly like 7x57, but the bullet dia. was a bit largish.

    You need to get the measurement of what would be the case length. It is an estimate, but you can get pretty close. If Japaneseicon, it should be close to 58mm. If 56-57mm it is a Mauser of some sort.
