    I would totally take it out of the case and shoot it...which is why I have no "collector" things in my collection.

    And you could assemble the sling to it correctly while you had it to hand. Probably the best WW1 1907 sling in existence.

    HA! Thanks. you made me do a double take there. the first time I looked my eye was drawn to the beautiful grain pattern in the wood...now I see the sling is going through the stacking swivel.
    Good think my wife doesn't let me "collect" things.
