The first question anyone will ask is that is it a genuine ex Navy N9 rifle or a sleeved No4 dressed up as a No9. In any case, if you want a ball park, that question has to be answered. But the only TRUE price is the auction price

It is a genuine one, with all the correct markings as per the skinnerton book, I purchased it many years ago when I was collecting Enfields. It is very good condition and I want to sell it, I could attach pictures if anyone is interested.
I am looking for a ballpark value
    Thanks for your reply

Suggest you look on rifleman.org for info on these - if you havnt already done so. They seem to be pretty scarce - even the dressed-up ones.

I have an ersatz Nr 9 and am unlikely to ever get rid of it - its a really enjoyable rifle to shoot.

Value is difficult but it wouldnt surprise me to see any owner asking £800 - £1000 (or more)for a genuine one in the UKicon
