I was curious what anyone thought about this. Looking at the lockbar sights gives me the feeling that it's not a legit example. What is everyone's thought on this?

Collector's Firearms aren't given to BS. M1D's were all rebuilt rifles with May of 1951 barrels at the earliest, according to Duff.
I'd bet the cheek rest is new(like these)Pacific Canvas & Leather Co. INC And the scope was just thrown on, though.
