Sling trivia, legit or not?
Hey guys, as not being a sling expert, i picked up a bunch of slings at a flea market around town, and they appear to mostly be legit compared to the ones posted here in the past couple of months.
but, i got a marked one, and I dont know, since i havent seen a legit marked one in person.
I think 1-11 are legit WW2, but not sure, especially because the colors of 1-11. the D rings, are nice, and is the arrow one british?

thank you for sharing your expertise to a sling newbie.

It looks like you did well.
Did you buy them as a lot? I'm curious what you paid for them if it's not too personal.

Why is life so unfair!!! Here I am hunting for my 1st original C tip WWII sling and I can't even get one because I lack experience and I'm so scared and really taking my time to study the details so I wont be burned and called a sucker by my fellow collectors. Now here you come and you get all of this in a flea market! Booo hooo hooo... BTW Congratulations on your awesome find!!

took my son to his first gun show yesterday, there where so many original usgi slings , along with nos bayonets in scabards for sale it was crazy. 40 for the slings and 50-175 for bayos. 80 percent of the morons selling them didnt even bother to take the made in china stickers off,......i never knew original carbine slings were made in china lol

Furthermore recently a batch of M4 Bayonets have come in from a foreign country packed inside a 1960's contract wrapper, indicating they are US GI. BS! The bayonet markings inside contradict the outside markings. They are bargain priced at $35.00. No Wonder. You will get what you pay for.
