    Japanese bayonet book

    Hi to all members,
I'm new to your forum and wanted to ask a few questions. First let me say I have been working on writing a new book on Japaneseicon bayonets called "Bayonets of Japan", and have been doing so since May 2006. I have 275 pages done and still have around 75 to go. If anyone has anything interesting, unusual, odd, rare, or just don't know what they have, please drop me a line and lets talk. I would be delighted to add anyones bayonets, frogs, or scabbards to the book and will give you full credit of ownership. I also would like to tell the members that they can visit my web site which has more information on the book at; "www.bayonetsofjapan.com" OK, with that said, thank you and now its time to get back to work on the book!

I've seen drafts of the early chapters and this will be THE book on Japaneseicon bayonets. Not only bayonets made by the Japanese, but other-country bayonets used by Japan. It is a MUST for your militaria library, and no I don't get a commission!

Best of luck to you. I wrote a book on U.S. fighting knives around ten years ago, but, couldn't get the funds to have it published and am entirely too vain to hand it over to a publisher and get pounded on it. I'd rather use it as a reference guide and have done so. I wish you well in your en devours, I know what it takes-SDH
