    Italian M1D? no pics

I was doing an information search and accidently found what was listed: Italianicon Small Arms Inventory. The M1D was still listed but I'm thinking that OBSOLESCENT must be the Italian way of saying they don't still use it. I didn't know that there was .308 M1D's. Here is how it's listed on the site. Was there a 2.5x scope or is it listed incorrectly?

    Garand M1D
    Calibre: 7.62×51mm
Origin: Pietro Beretta SpA, Gardone Val Trompia (licensed from USAicon).
Use: Armed forces: limited service. In use with Alpini. OBSOLESCENT.
    Details: Libby-Owens-Ford 2.5× scope.

The Italians converted a number of US Milsurp M1 rifles to 7.62mm NATO, before manufacturing a new rifle (the BM59), an M14icon-clone. The scope would be a 2.2x M84, for which LOF was primary contractor.

    Italian Cone flash hider

    Good Day,
Here are a few examples of Italianicon military M2 cone flash hiders. They are similar to US manufactured examples and are marked "PARA FIAMMA M2"

    Best Always,
    Michael

This rifle was being offered by an Italianicon dealer. Please note the carrying box it comes with.

Italy also had Enfield No. 4 T sniper rifles in such a chest with Italian markings
