    IBM 4 Rivet Handguard

Has anyone ever seen an LW-B handguard with 4 rivets. I can't seem to find any info. showing one was ever produced. I figure it must be an arsenal repair/modification. Also, the rivets have little posts on the topside. I have never seen that either.

    Thanks, Greg V

Greg, those are strange rivets. I'm not sure, I wonder if Charlie has run into some like that?......Frank

Yea, they are different than anything I have seen. Whoever did the mod. did a good job. I have a liner that's about to fall off of the "bullnose" handguard that came on my Bavarian Win. Carbine. I'm going to have to figure out a way to fix it without messing it up. Any ideas?
