I think there's just the small squared-off "S" around it's mid-section, if anything. Could be wrong, but I seem to remember seeing one in a parts pile last week or so. I've no idea where to look for it right now- it could be in one of three counties!

I have two spares, neither is marked, but that does not mean anything.

Yes, Savage mfg. firing pins have the "S" mark on them.

Where about is it located? A pic would be great.

Does anyone have an extra marked one that they would want to sell?

I've just looked at 60 or so and there isn't a S marked one.

Very interesting. I know that it really doesn't matter but if there are some marked, I'd like to get one.

The one that I have now on the bolt is still good but I'm looking for one as a back up- just in case.

You never know till it happens.

They're stamped about half way up the shaft. Long Branch ones are also marked with the little "B inside of an L" mark.
