Is your A3 mainly a shooter or do you think of it as a collectors piece?
Are the metal components still in GI finishes (original or rebuild)?
    Regards,
    Jim

It is a Shooter, a Hunting rifle, I don't collect anything.
It is all original, GI finish, all R marked parts.
I just don't see much of a need for the Stock to set and collect dust
if someone else could use it.

It sounds like the rifle could be restored but if you are not inclined to do that then I think you might as well pass the stock along to someone who wants it.

    Regards

What do you mean restored, as in just putting the stock back on ?

Yes. If the stock is original and appropriately marked and if the metal parts are, as you say, all Remington and appropriately finished then it could be a candidate for restoration.

    Regards.

Sell it. Theres nothing special about it. If you ever want one again, they're easy enough to come by, if you want to spend the money.

If the scant stock is nice enough it will pay for the C stock.

I'm looking for a Remington 1903A3 stock with pins (not crossbolts)..also no RA stamp, but needs a clear FJA , crossed cannons & a circle P on wrist... If yours fits this description, and you want to sell, please email me....I'll pay a very fair price for a minty one...

    regards...
