Questions about a USGI 1907 sling

I found a leather 1907 sling today in an antique store. It is dated 1918 on one half maker marked by W.T. & B. CO. and the other half is marked B.T. & B. Co. with a "2" under the name, no date. My questions about it are shown in the photos. The first photo is of one of the two keepers; it is finished out with staples instead of being sewn. Is this a correct military keeper and from what era or have the keepers been replaced? Picture two is of a set of QD Swivels which I don't recognize. Does anyone recognize them as military? Thanks.

The keeper is from a sling like Uncle Mikes. Civilian. They use the same staples today. The swivels I don't recognize either, and I think they were added by the same one who put the keeper on.
