I know that a SMLE and a No4 should be 0.040" / 0.050" min / max but what about :

LEC
CLLE
MLM
& any other early Enfield variant.

Are they all the same ?

Alan, I don't recall seeing a spec for any of the earlier models anywhere, perhaps someone will know.
The main point is the required protrusion to ignite the ammo used, which I'd think would only have changed if the design of the primer cup and anvil had changed.
