I bought this in Simsbury Ct for $275.00 in 1980...KP Firearms, if anyone in CT knew Gerry Kaisar, he said he got it from a US marines grandson..used in the Pac..

That is a very nice WRA and a great reference for a restoration. I have a 5.7 WRA Carbine with a an early stock on it, unfortuatly its kind of beat. My trigger group has that same "Z" or "N" as well, same with my WRA garand. Anyone know what that means?

    Gorgeous weapon!

Thanks for sharing. The early Winchester I had in the early 80s was in that kind of shape, but blued if I remember correctly.
