Don't know who the subcontractor was, but RI is an Inland mark. A handy and inexpensive book is Craig Reisch for about $20 or so. Got most of the marks in it. If you want extensive detail you can get War Baby that runs about $60 and lists many of the subcontactors for each maker of carbines.
