Jump boots
Those guys have all the scarce stuff. They need to just drop their gear in a pile and walk away...

He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.
just a matter of time before they throw that Reising into the pacific
Looks like it's brand new too!

Yes, jump boots in the first photo, not in the last. You can tell by the beveled front of the heel. That's so it doesn't catch on anything when they "stand up, hook up, SHUFFLE to the door, step right out and count to four"![]()

Real men measure once and cut.
The boots on the left bottom photo. What are they? They have a bead around the toe top. The others have a toe cap like jumpers. The shoulder rig with the LMG looks more like a Heiser???than an M3 or anything. Second pic has all the old pattern stuff. Jump helmet which was mostly flying helmet, I'll bet that's a 1911 he has and the Reising has already been slandered so I'll leave that.
