single point leather sling or a hen's tooth wanted

    where o where can I buy a flamin leather single point sling for a No4 mk1 Enfield 303 ?
I have searched and searched the net without sucess. It all seems to be nylon these days .

I'll settle for a hen's tooth or flying pig

You have a man on this forum named Saddler that works in making reproduction leather military slings. He's located in Scotland so he's close to you. PM him and see what he has. If that doesn't work then try pacificcanvasandleather.com as they show an "Australianicon" sling that would do.

thanks Jim thats very helpful ta.
bulletbill I'm having trouble getting my pigs to fly lately... the're obviously not getting enough thrust
singlepoint slings are probably not correct for classic shooting but they sure are more comfortable

I didn't know there was ever an issue single point sling, but there are often leather target SP slings listed on fleecebay. I've got one for my Anschutz, but you'll need to make the hitch narrower to fit a L-E swivel. Cheaper than having one made ... I reckon.

PS; Pigs fly just fine, given enough thrust .
