Howards Feed 'n' Wax in Canada?

I've been told this is the product for rejuvinating old, dry, stocks without in any way devaluing them.

Where can it be bought or ordered from in Canada?

I got mine at Home Depot or Rona, can't remember which one. I think I have a 16 oz bottle and for how much you use on a single rifle, it will probably last me for as long as I need it.

i got mine from the oak tree? or barn furniture shop it does a realy great job. its all i use now doesnt darken the wood

Make your own, 1/3 bee's wax 1/3 turpentine, and 1/3 boiled linseed oil. I heat mine in an old Mr Coffee pot on the warmer outside. Just in case there is a fire. After everything is warm and melted I pour it into small baby food jars. A few of the jars I have added shredded crayola crayons for those times when I need to add some color to the stock. Just use a dab on the sun warmed stock and rub it in well.

Food for thought, the majority of today’s BLO is not boiled at all and has resins, dryers and other toxic chemicals added to it. The original triple mix was made from 1/3 raw linseed oil, 1/3 bees wax and 1/3 Turpentine and is nothing more than pre-petroleum age old world furniture polish. It was also used during the American Civil War as cosmoline for rifles in storage and rubbed on rifles in use to protect the gun from the elements (water barrier)

The dryers added to most new types of “BLO” will cause the triple mix to dry and harden inside a sealed container and raw linseed oil needs contact with air to dry.

Real boiled linseed oil and raw linseed oil are both safe to apply with your bare hands and newer type BLO states to wear rubber gloves when applying.
