Sun Optics no gunsmithing scope mount for No.4?

Anyone have experience with these? Are they sturdy and durable? Useful?

    Thanks for any feedback.

The only TRUE no gunsmithing mount for the No4 rifle is the Armalon/Fulton mount - available with or without the picatinny dovetail rail, available from Fultons or via BDLicon Ltd in SC. As I understand it, they come in cheapo aluminium or everlasting steel. That's my opinion for what it's worth...............

I have a S&K mount for my number 4 and it has held zero very well and appears to be made of good quality steel. The S&K was recommended by the local gunsmith however I have never seen a Fultons to compare quality.

I know there are cheap mounts out there as the gunsmith had one but I paid more for a used S&K as it was steel and the cheaper one (can't remember the maker) appeard to be made of aluminium.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

From the pictures and comparing to my personal no drill mount on my No4 (S&K maybe) I'd say Peter is right. I'm a fairly tall guy at 6' but I have average length arms and the N butt on my rifle is the right length for me. I have a Weaver K4 on that mount and there is very little eye relief. Its scary shooting it prone. Looks like this mount moves everything much farther ahead to where it needs to be. Kinda wish I had one!

The Sun Optics mount if it's the one on eBay looks like a rip off of the B-Square mount. Not the best design by any stretch of the imagination.
