5.75 mm H&R Garand with SA barrel

A local shop has what appears to be an excellent condition 5.76 mm H&R Garandicon with a 6/53 SA barrel. Also, the trigger group is all H&R except the trigger which is Springfield as well. I know that H&R's in this range often have SA barrels, but as far as I can find, 10/53 is the earliest dated SA barrel. Also, not sure about the Springfield trigger. The wear patterns (while very light) are very close so the rifle appears to be in original condition and there is a punch mark in the P on the barrel. DAS-proof stock in excellent condition. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Response on another site was from a fellow with a similar rifle but with a SA 12-53 barrel and gas plug - he stated that his was a CMPicon rifle.
    Thanks
    Greg

Scott Duffs article on "Barrel Usage on New M1icon Rifle Production 1952-1957, Part 3 H&R Arms Company", GCAicon Journal Vol. 14, Issue 2, shows the following HRA rifles with SA barrels dated before 10 of 53.
    5724858 SA 4 53, 5762633 SA 11 52, 5768229 SA 5 52, 5775958 SA 5 52, 5779301 SA 3 53.
Scott goes on to say SA barrels began showing up in the 5722xxx range and mostly concluded in the 5789xxx range. the dates of barrels ranged from Sept 1951 through Feb. 1954, with the majority dated during 1953. Usage was not sequential by date.
