The first one looks like an M1A1icon holster, can't tell if it's real. The second looks like an M3 for the revolvers like the S&W M&P...the marking looks like a repro...I'm sure someone will confirm or deny shortly.
    Regards, Jim

Haverhill Stitching Co., Inc., Haverhill, Mass., had QMC contracts in 1944-45 for “Combat Field Packs” (presumably the Pack M-1944), and “Ammunition Bags.” The Holster or Scabbard (I’ve heard both terms used) for the Carbine M1A1icon, was intended for use by air landing troops, however it was my understanding this item was not popular and I’m surprised to see an example dated 1944, although there is no doubt the example imaged is an original item.

As to the leather holster I concur it was intended for the Revolver .38-caliber, and was mostly likely made by the manufacturer for commercial sales, as the marking is not to military specifications.
