Has anyone found a large EXPANDER?

There doesn´t seem to be a large, 11mm expander on the market. The one I use bells out the opening too much. I need one that only just widens the cartridge without doing any damage to the very rare cases. Any ideas? Suppose I could get an insert custom made ...

I have a case neck deburring tool (old RCBS, I think) on a wooden handle, with a fairly gentle angle supposedly to match boat-tails. By pushing it in firmly and rotating anti-clockwise - i.e. in the wrong direction for cutting! - something normally avoided with cutting equipment - one can create just enough expansion to start a lead bullet in a BPCR case. I suppose I could turn up something to fit, but then I would need one for each of the eccentric BPCR calibers I use, and this method has worked satisfactorily enough for years. And it still deburrs if turned in the proper direction!

The method of use is thus gruesomely simple: twiddle lightly clockwise, to deburr, then push firmly and rotate anticlockwise to expand.

Patrick, is that the ubiquitous tool that de-burrs the outer case rim with one end and the inner with the other? Mine doesn´t look as if it´s the right angle. I´ve now sent Hensel the expander with the inserts and some damaged cases and asked him to make it for me. Just hope that Horneber pulls his thumb out soon

No, that type has an angle that is far too steep. You need one of these

I use the double-ender only for the outside of the neck.
