    1943 Springfield M1 Garand

    Hello,

This 1943 Springfield Garandicon came out of a small shop in Eastern Canadaicon.

This is the only Garand in my WWII collection and I've been pretty happy with it since picking it up.

I don't believe it's ever been messed with, but has no provenance or story of how it got here.

    Regards,
    -Steve

I like it. They are a ball to shoot. I was just out today, banging away!

Looks pretty good from the initial look-see. How about some more extensive breakdown? Nice looking rifle...

Very nice rifle. I am envious of that EMcF stock. It's a beauty!

    Thanks!

I did photograph and research the internals several years ago, from what I recall it all appeared original including un-cut op rod. I will see if I can find those photos.

I have never fired the rifle. I was searching at the time for a nice M1icon Garand for my Marine Corps collection of firearms.

That's an honest, original rifle. I have one exactly like it sn. 1962792 / 9-43 barrel date. Enjoy!!
