    Identifying a Enfield stock

    Hi,

    I want to try a lengthened the stock on my no4, but I dont want to modify the original item, so Im looking for a replacement.

    Not sure what this is off? can I get some helping ID'ing it?

    Looks like a No4 butt to me but we were permitted to interchange butts between No1's and 4's providing they were simply modified to suit at the butt socket end.

    As Peter has said, it looks like a No.4 with a notch out of the wrist for the safety of the SMLE Mk3 (But not as deep).
