    My 4 M1 Carbines

in the group pic from top to bottom. Saginaw I think it was made between May 1943 and February 1944. Barrel is Saginaw marked and so is everything else, but no date on the barrel. Next is a Quality hardware with all Quality Hardware parts except a 1-43 dated Underwood barrel. Next is an Inland again with all Inland parts. It's barrel is dated 1-44. Last is a National Ordnance made in 1965. I see a Quality Hardware mark in the Quality Hardware stock, but the others I do not know exactly who made them. Thanks for taking a look.

Nice guns Mike. I take it you shoot them all from time to time?
    Regards, Jim

The Inland and the National Ordnance I do quite a bit. The Quality Hardware I have only once, but I have only had it for about 2 months. I have only shot the Saginaw twice in the whole time I have had it. It is in very good condition so I tend to like to keep it in the safe, but you have to shoot them sometimes.

FYI, Saginaw never dated their barrels.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I didn't think so. This one is not dated either.
