Is it just me, or is this trigger housing a casting??

That appears to be the brazed trigger group. It's all slabs of metal. The outside could be pitted from rust and re-blued...that's how it looks. The picture is so close I can't see detail of the side of the trigger guard. It also appears to have pits.
    Regards, Jim

    Real Deal?

Everything shown and described is as should be for late production Rock-ola, including the hammer and magazine catch that he disclaims. But, since he only provided two pics we dont know if they are all real WWII parts (valuable) or modern reproductions (little value). The trigger housing has been refinished by media blasting and re-parkerizing - big drawback. I don't know how high (or low) it will go for but it has potential. Unless he provides several more decent pics of the innards then 'you pays your dollar and takes your chance'. JMHO
