    Help iidentifying 303 ammo

    Help with ammo Identification
    Before shooting this ammo I just received I am attempting to ID it, and determine if it is corrosive...box of 32 cartridges...Box is marked 303 Inch, MK7

    Yes it's corrosive and you'll most likely have a lot of hang fires and a few duds.

    Thanks for the info.....Would it be better if I pulled the bullets? Change powder, or just fire them and clean the SMLE good after?

    Shoot it as is if you can tolerate the hangfires and clean the rifle afterwards. I can't so I transfer the cordite and bullet to a new case and with a good modern primer. Tedious but rewarding.
