Hi guys,
I am looking to purchase a renewed M1903A3 rifle here for Service Shooting Competitions.
Lawrence Ordnance here have renewed (their word) ones at around AUS $1500.00.
One is Marked REMINGTON 3738907 scant stock the other REMINGTON 3967234 C stock.
They were refurbished by Rockridge Machine Works and have new Military profile Criterion barrels fitted along with new woodwork. Both have the correct small aperture sight.
The question to those who know about the 1903 which would be the better stock to get comfort wise for rifle competitions Scant or C and do you think they are worth the money?
Cheers
Dick
P.S. I only have Enfields, Omark and FR8's to play with currently.Information
