P1864 Nepal Snider action strength

I recently purchased an IMA P1864 Snider and was wondering how strong the actions are. I compared the design of my 1873 Springfield trapdoor action to the Snider and they seem to be equally well built. Does anyone have any experience testing the strength of the Snider?

You might try asking over on the britishforum where there is a lot more activity and knowledge regarding the nepal guns. The thing to consider is that they are hand made and the metal can be questionable. I have one of the snider type nepal guns and just haven't had the time to try and make up some ammo for it. The action and bore on mine are in great shape. After about 10 minutes of cleaning the bore on mine was so shiny it is hard to look down it with a light at the breach end.

Thanks for the info. I have checked this gun thoroughly and it is in great shape. The stock had worm holes that I filled with epoxy but other than that it is in great shape. I am reloading for it now using 24g plastic shotgun shells. I will post after range day
