Later picture, high hump gas cylinder lock, no lock bar sight...and his rear sight is cranked all the way up. Must be taking aim at a warmer location.

Everything about that picture says "movie still photo". He, his uniform and kit is just too neat to be anywhere real life.

I thought that soldier looked a lot like Henry Fonda, here is a scene right before the above picture but in B/W. Movie is Battle Of The Bulge (65).
Once I again I am reminded of the line from the John Frost played by Anthony Hopkins in A Bridge Too Far:
