A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Later picture, high hump gas cylinder lock, no lock bar sight...and his rear sight is cranked all the way up. Must be taking aim at a warmer location.
    Regards, Jim

Everything about that picture says "movie still photo". He, his uniform and kit is just too neat to be anywhere real life.

Given the picture quality - my guess would be an reenactor

Given the sight position Hollywood is also a possibility but the image does not ring any bells as to the movie

I thought that soldier looked a lot like Henry Fonda, here is a scene right before the above picture but in B/W. Movie is Battle Of The Bulge (65).

Once I again I am reminded of the line from the John Frost played by Anthony Hopkins in A Bridge Too Far:
    Something just occurred to me.
    What's that, sir?
    We're wearing the wrong camouflage.
It's all very well for the country,
but we won't fool anyone in the towns.

I remember the scene with Henry Fonda shooting the no sight rifle...
