I thought I would had posted pictures of this rifle, but since I couldn't find them I must had never posted them ... so please find attached some pictures of an Eddystone P.14 rifle in .303 Britishcaliber which was converted to Carbine length at some point of time.
The overall length now is 100 cm (39,4") with a barrel length of 47 cm (18,5"). While the stock is a M1917 stock, the rifle still remains in its original caliber. An interesting detail is the full serial number which is stamped also to the rear handguard. I was not able to find any other markings on the rifle telling me on the origin of it. My best guess would be somewhere in India or Asia, since M1917 carbines (although those seem to be a bit longer than my rifle) are known to originate from there.
Edit 18.06.2023: re-uploaded pictures that were lost in forum crash.Information
