A) We had in Australia in the early 80's a F-111 on a TFR excersize hit a Pelican at 200 knots it came through the front of the cockpit killing the pilot instantly.
The plane rolled to the starboard at which point the Navigator banged out the escape module but due to the height of the aircraft and terrain it impacted the side of a hill killing him.
My brother who was an engine fitter in the RAAF at the time said the crash was a mess.

B) Australia is one of the few country's to lose its complete aerobatic team in one swoop!
4 Vampires were performing a co-ordinated barrel roll but the leader started the action at too low.
