    Some photos from my collection.

As the format of this forum has changed and adding photos seems more easy
here goes my first attempt at joining.

I collect "original" U.S. Civil War and Indian War arms and militaria,...as well as other stuff.

I do not shoot these guns.....I just try and preserve them for the next owner.

Iboos yours is close to mine. Mine is very nice too. I have a factory letter from colt on mine. It was shipped in a shipment of 500 to Governors Island New York in April of 1863. Yours was probally in this same shipment. Keith

Keith, That is interesting. I wonder where they went from there? I do know that 1860 army # 113596 went to CO F 2nd PA VOL. CAV. which is 50 off from mine. I don't have a letter from colt on mine. It would probley be the same as your's.

    colt

Yes I have heard that some others in this serial range went to the PA. Calvary also. I use to have one of all colt cap and ball revolvers except the Patterson and Walker but stupid me sold them to buy a reproduction full scale 1841 6 pound cannon to use in re enacting. My dragoon was a very nice 1st model. I been regretting selling those colts for a long time now.
