    Canadian Owen tests 1941

Found an interesting vid on the Utuber. Perhaps one of you more tech savvy gents can put it up for general perusal if you see fit. It's called "Service tests of modern sub machine guns (1941) and other Historic Films on the Owen gun (1940's)". It was posted up by UoNCC some threes ago.

Interesting 20 minutes of viewing there. I only remember our Owens with the sletonised butts and bayonet mounts. Later versions. By '68 or so they'd all gone except for some stragglers, so said, in the CMF/TA armouries. Nice to see.....

I assume the Lanchester wasn't trialed as it was a RN and RAF weapon?
