    From the M1 collectors club.

Simple exclamation for this pic was - Drool!

There was no info on where this actual weapon is but my guess in a museum somewhere.

I think it's kept at Springfield Armory National Historic Site in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Very nice. I saw the same pic earlier in the week on fb. Still trying to wipe the drool off my phone from that episode

My paperwork for an August 1944 example is currently being processed. Still trying to sorce additional enbloc clips locally to add to the one with the rifle.

    earlt serial number 1

Early serial number 1 chambered for the 276 Pedersen cartridge with a ten round en bloc clip.

Excellent cartridge with a perfect case taper for feeding in auto loading weapons, died too
early. I believe the 276 Pedersen was influenced by the 6,5x52mm Carcano cartridge, also
    very close to same dimensions

Photo show 7,62 NATO and 276 Pedersen

forgot to add: years ago I had the chance to buy a Vickers Pedersen rifle also chambered for the 276 cartridge. Vickers-Armstrong had manufactured a small number of Pedersen rifles for testing in the UKicon during the 1930's. Some or most of these were imported to the USAicon.
