I have never shot it with the bayonet installed. I may try it sometime just to see. I have shot my SKS's with their bayonets extended with no difference in grouping or point of impact.

Bayonet question
I have several mosin nagants and when you install the bayonet on them it moves the Point of impact several inches. Even the shorter carbine ones that the bayonets flip out from the side do the same thing.

The Mosin carbines were originally sighted in with the bayonet extended.

My son Jeff's M44 shoots dead on with the bayonet extended. We found that when closed the tip is firm against the stock. That firmness is just enough to pull it off a bit.
