Yet one more Rockola questions posting !

I just picked up a barreled Rockola Receiver tonight. It has a Rockola barrel with the 3rd type of barrel band that I can't find a marking on. The serial number on the receiver is from the second production run from Nov 43 to March of 44. SN is in the 456**** range . The front sight is marked RP . The top rear area behind the front sight has Rockola but no date and is marked likewise on the right side of the gas housing. It has a worn JAO adjustable rear sight assy. I was also given a worn finish flat Rockola marked bolt assembly with my purchase. What slide and trigger housing would I need to add to this ? Is the JAO rear sight the right one ? It has a bit of worn finish. Any help would be much appreciated !

Pictures would be great, what condition is the rifling in the bore? That's the first thing I would want to figure out before I would consider finding the parts to rebuild her as a shooter because as with anything, it's not going to be cheap. There may be good reason why you're carbine is missing parts. I am only saying this because in your description the word worn is used to describe several things,so I would make sure the rifling is not in the same condition before going any further.what I am trying to get at is you can probably buy a shooter grade complete rockola carbine for less than it might cost you buying a piece here and there to complete a barreled receiver.or on the other hand it might be completely and totally worth it but without pictures it's hard to tell

With the adjustable rear sight and the type 3 barrel band it means that your barreled receiver went through a rebuild. The receiver dates to later 1943 and type 1 rear sights were the only ones in use.
Rock-Ola never used the type 3 barrel band. The correct one would be the type 1A band. Very very expensive to restore and if the dove tail for the rear sight has punch mark craters then it will always show that the rear sight was changed. Would be best to use any good USGI parts no matter who made them as it has been rebuilt already and you will have a Rock-Ola shooter.

No that is a replcement mfg part not a ROCK-OLA hammer

The B/R in a circle and double box was made by Bruner-Ritter Inc.
