These rifles seem to be mostly built on III* actions from the second decade of the 1900s. The buttsocket is not marked as a .22 conversion. They use "Parkerrifling" conversions (they did a great job,the conversion is hard to see!) and are marked "Parker Hale , Birmingham" . Suggesting the conversion took place after the 30's . http://www.rifleman.org.uk/A.G._and_...rker-Hale.html I have heard some speculation they were from the Irish "air ministry". Is there any factual knowldege of these .22s ? Thanks !Information
