I picked one of these up at an auction last fall not knowing exactly what it was. The auction house didn't either. With research I positively beyond a doubt identified it as a Brazilianicon Model 1908 Pioneer Short Sword.

BUT, that's about all I know about it. I would like to know more about the history of it if anyone knows anything. I've done quite a few net searches for it and found a few sites that mention it and a few that have come up in auction but they never get into any detail at all.
