I am doing my first complete strip of all my rifles for cleaning, respringing, oiling, and greasing.

I know nothing when it comes to wood treatment, and get a headache from all the info provided here trying to figure out what to do!

I'd like to clean and preserve my stocks. I've been told to clean with denatured alcohol and apply some Raw linseed oilicon (I know opinions between RLO and BLOicon differ). Is this right for my stocks?

Any advice would be much appreciated
