M1 Carbine spotted in TV series 'Mob City'

Don't know the actors name but he was in the Walking Dead series and died off.
Seen a little of one nights show, where he had a standoff with some bad guys, holding them off with a M1 carbine. I could see it had a rear flip sight and early band. Almost sure it was a Hi-wood and Oval cut. It was dark though, they were out by a oil storage/pump facility.

Just seen 'Mob City' has it's 2 hr season finale tonight on TNT @ 8 pm EST.
