    Two interesting Chinese Mauser 98 copies.

    Picked these two old war horses up yesterday, had to have them. The effort to copy these Mausers is pretty extraordinary. Of the two, I'd have to say that the Gew 98 copy is the best. Pretty impressive lange vizier sight copy. The fact that these were probably actually used in combat is even more impressive. The markings are almost comical...totally nonsensical to Western eyes! Would love to know what the buttstock markings translate to, if anyone can assist there. Enjoy the pics!
