Hello all...I've recently come into possession of a Mauser 98K and I'm trying to find some more info on it's possible history. The receiver is stamped as a Banner Mauser 1934, with other stamps/info as follows:

Serial: 77007 with diamond proof. Proof stamps B,G,U, and N with crowns are also present.
Bolt: 77007
Safety: 1907
Butt plate: 7339
Trigger plate: 7007 and 1814

Manufactured by Mauser-Werke in Oberndorf am Neckar.

The stock appears to be roughly five-six inches shorter than what most 98K's appear, and also lacks finger grooves. Unfortunately, I do not know if the stock is original, has been cut down for sporting purposes, and there are no markings on it.

Pics are attached.
