M1 Carbine WW2 Question with Picture

What can you tell about what year this could of been taken. I just came across this picture that I haven't seen maybe a lot of others have so I apologize about that. I was looking at his M1 Carbine and recognized a Low Wood Stock and a adjustable rear sight without a T3 Barrel Band. What year do you come up with. I was thinking they were changed out together or was the T3 Barrel Band done after the WW2 ?
