It JUST lets one close the bipod around it on the Bren. With the No.1 style bipod, I have to let the feet down a couple of notches to clear the grip. I suspect if I was running a no. 2 or No. 3 bipod, the feet may not pass by the pistol grip to fold in a rearward stowed position? I will have to try this. I currently do not own a No. 2 but have a No. 3 bipod.
The grip is a tad long for my taste, but I have not been so bold yet to cut a inch or so off the bottom of one yet. I would like to even it out with the rear grip so if I stood the gun on just the grips, the rifle would sit parallel with a table top.
