My & I have a tradition of getting each other a firearm of some sort for birthdays. This year I'm running late by a few weeks, but it took some time to settle on something then to acquire. Not to long ago I picked up a really nice M1917 bayonet which got me thinking that the misses loves Enfields and I've been on a domestic caliber kick. So I decided that she needed an M1917. Did some horse trading & came up with this on for her.
U.S. Model of 1917 Remington. In stupid nice condition to with her bayonet. Has a really nice bore & stock. The action screws are still staked in place. The only non Remington parts I've found are an Eddystone rear sight & Winchester cocking piece. Not that I've had much opportunity to look at it much. Put a leather Kerr sling on it as I don't have a 1917 length canvas Kerr sling & I kinda like it. Goes well with my Remington M1903. Will post better pictures later. Most of these are from the previous owner. Thank you Dallas!Information
