I have a 1943 Long Branch Enfield that was given to me. Someone had butchered it and made a deer rifle out of it and I'm trying to putit back the way it should be.

I have already replaced the wood, barrel bands, front sighthood and hardware. I'm down to needing a rear sight assy. How do I know if it came with the 'L' shaped sight or the ladder adjustable sight? It looks like i need the entire assy, including the pin, pin retainer, plunger and plunger spring.
